New Catalogue 1st July

I've been playing with the new stamp 'Blended Bloom' and the new 'Blendabilities', alcohol based markers in the 2014 - 2015 Stampin' Up! Catalogue. Colouring up is so therapeutic, I used to enjoy it, but haven't done any for so long. The new catalogue starts next week on July 1st.

These cards were made to show the girls in my stamp club how versatile the new stamp set 'Work of Art' is.  The top two cards on the left are made using the new In Colors too. All the girls were impressed and I think they will deffinately  consider this set when we next meet.

I will be having a catalogue launch on Tuesday 15th of July if anyone is interested.

Enjoy!

Sorry!

OMG!  How long has it been??  Too long, and I suppose everyone who used to check out my blog has given up bothering.  Anyway I don't have any good excuses, I think I just got busy and sort of lost interest in updating, sorry.

So here's a bit of a catch up in photos of some of what I have been doing:

The first two photos (above) are the cards we did at a stamp a stack in March. The second five cards are a bit of a technique class as well, we used the masking tape technique on them. It's so easy and effective especially on the cards with the Wetlands stamps. Love that set.

These cards are a sneak peak because they are for the next Stamp a Stack on 17th June.If any of you local to me are interested please contact me and book your spot.

Below is a Card in a Box.  This was a technique of the month card, the first one is the actual card we made.  It's a simpler version I used designer series papers for the flowers.  The card underneath was more involved because I stamped and then cut out the flowers using framelits.  I thought that would be too time consuming for a class.  Everyone loved this card, and some have reported that they have made more at home.  They are really lovely.  I have made another one, but haven't photographed it, it's rather special white on white with a few touches of silver.  Hearts and flowers. It's for a wedding we are going to later in the year.

These cards were the technique class in April, thanks to my neighbour for showing me how to make the lattice edge cards. We also made that card at Stamp Club.  We usually do whatever the technique class is that month at stamp club.

The final two cards were last weeks technique class the Starburst or Sunburst technique. The girls at stamp club did this technique but a different design.  At the technique class a few of the ladies changed the blue one and put a flower in the middle rather than the surfer.  That looked nice too, they used markers in all the same colours to colour directly onto the stamp, very effective.

Leaving the best till last.  Here is the beautiful Elsie Amarlie, our gorgeous first grandchild.  She was born on 9th April weighing 4kg and she hasn't stopped growing since.  We love her so much and wish we lived nearer. The first photo is the day she was born and the last two were taken last weekend.

Thanks for coming back, if anyone did : )  I'll try to update a little more often.

Regards
