I am such a bad blogger!! I get so busy and then I just don't get around to adding anything on here. Oh well, I'm here now. Since I last wrote I've had lots of classes and I've started a Stamp Club, which is working out really well. There are seven members of the club and we meet at my place once a month. We create something, chat a lot and look through the Stampin' Up! ideas book and catalogue a lot too! They all seem to be enjoying it and I know I am. It's lots of fun and more relaxed than the usual classes (though I do love those too). At our last club get together we made a really cute Santa "bag in a box" pictured above. It would be great to fill with chocolates and give as a gift.

This month is the final Stamp a Stack for the year so the final set of Christmas cards, we are doing all ten cards in a Christmas theme this time. I think I am still going to have to get stuck in to it and make some more because I need to send so many to all my family and friends. It really wouldn't look good if I send bought ones would it!

This is going to be another busy month trying to get my Christmas Cards organised and make some new cards and samples using stamps and accessories from the NEW 2008-2009 Summer Mini Catalogue. This will be released on 1st December. However, demonstrators are lucky enough to be able to order as of yesterday, so that we can be prepared! Now I'm just waiting for my goodies to arrive. The November Stampin' Up!® special starts on 10th November and Stampin Write Markers are available to purchase individually @ just $4.95 each!! So rather than buying the whole family of colours in a set, you can pick and choose which colours you want. Or maybe you have a set and one or two are getting a little worse for wear? These are available from 10 - 30 November, so please contact me if you would like to place an order 0409714306.

Well, better go and get cracking on some more Christmas cards. Take care until next time. Hopefully it wont be quite so long.

Coming up next Tuesday I am holding a class, the five cards we are making use lots of punches. I was never that keen on punches, but they are growing on me. Not the cutsie little teddy bears and hearts type of punches, but the ovals and scalloped circles things like that. You can use them in lots of different ways. Here are the cards we will be making. I have to admit most of the ideas on these cards have been cased from other people. Thank you all for your inspiration.

I sometimes wonder why I am doing this as I haven't told anyone I have a blog, so I presume no one has actually been to look at it. I'm a bit shy about telling people where to look incase they think it is silly :( Oh well, I will keep on talking to myself and one day maybe I will share it with some others!

Our Stamp a Stack night a couple of weeks ago went well. Here are the cards we made. The Star card was made in five different colours and it looked really nice. I also had a class for some people involved with the community outreach group last Sunday and we made a very similar card there too, with a matching box.

In July we made this really cute shopping bag (I found the instructions on SCS web site, but had to adjust the size). Then we made five matching cards to go inside it. This would make a great gift for someone. We used Stampin' Up!® Fall Flowers double sided designer paper for the bag and on some of the cards. The stamp set we used is the level 2 hostess incentive set 'In the Spotlight'. Hope you like them, everyone who did the class was very impressed with what they made.

I Got A Cuttlebug Machine

I recently got a Cuttlebug machine, and am loving the embossed effect, I particularly love this swirl background featured in the card above. I made this card for my daughter and her boyfriend.

June Stamp a Stack

In June we made these gorgeous cards using Stampin' Up!® sets Wild About You and Garden Whimsy. It was rather hectic making all those cards in a couple of hours but everyone seemed to enjoy themselves

Long Time No Post! 10th August 2008

Would you believe I forgot my password to get into my blog and couldn't post anything. So then I gave up trying, but today I thought I would have another go and here I am!! It's been a while I've had a few technique classes since I last posted so I will try and download some of the photos of what we made. The photo above is from the May, faux woodgrain, faux tearing and faux stitching class. Hope you like them.

Saturday 24th May

Had a great class on Tuesday and we made the five cards featured in the photo at the top of the page. These cards feature the Stampin' Up!® 'Bodacious Bouquet' stamp set, along with a couple of the background stamps, 'Sanded' & 'Linen', and the Jumbo Stampin' Around Wheel 'So Swirly'. I hope you like them. The colours are all from the Earth Elements family of colours. If you would like to purchase any of these stamps or book in for a class please contact me.

Happy Mother's Day 2008

Happy Mother's Day everyone. I hope you are all having a lovely day. I just rang and spoke to my Mum, it's at times like this when I wish we all lived a little closer to each other. This the first year for a while that I have had one of my daughters here . So I am going to enjoy spending the day with her. We are going to look at the local markets, have lunch together and then go to the movies.
Here is a picture of the card I sent to my Mum for mother's day. A few Mums might have got one just like this as I did it as part of a class I held a few weeks ago. Hope you like it.
