April Stamp a Stack

Here are the ten cards we made on Tuesday.  The top five cards were made using the One Sheet Wonder method.  We started with a sheet of Whisper White card stock and stamped all over with the Secret Garden stamp set.  We used Pool Party, Tangerine Tango, Rich Razzleberry, Lucky Limeade, Island Indigo and Sahara Sand Inks. We cut the sheet into various pieces and below are the results.

The second set of cards were made very simply.  We had four pieces of card stock, trimmed 1cm off the long and short side, those pieces are used to make the card in the centre. The other four pieces are embossed with different embossing folders then cut into four pieces not even, but all in the exact same places.  Then using one of each colour on each card.  I think these will make good masculine cards.

Enjoy!

New Colour Families from 1/7/13

Just so that it is easier for you to visualize here are some charts of the new colours (thanks to US Stampin' Up! demonstrator April Bailey).

They look nice when you see them like this don't they!  I am sad that some colours are going, but you soon forget about the old ones and start to enjoy the new ones.  There will also be five new 'In Colors' to look forward to, as of the 1st July, when the new 2013 Catalogue starts.

Enjoy!

Do you dream in colour? We do!

Announcing our Colour Refresh! We love colour and we know that you do too. Colour is fundamental to who we are and what we offer. It's important for us to stay up-to-date with colour trends so we are thrilled to share our updated line of colours, and hope you will be as excited as we are by the new possibilities!
Why now? In 2010 we did a big colour renovation and shared our plans for smaller colour refreshes every three to five years to keep our colours on trend. Well it has been three years and we are excited to announce that the upcoming 2013-2014 annual catalogue will include 10 new colours (most of which are returning In Colors from previous years)! We are welcoming back some of your favourites, moving some colours around, and introducing three brand-new colours, so take a look!

Beginning on 4 April 2013, all retiring/discontinued colour products (i.e. ink, paper, ribbon, accessories, etc.) will be available only while supplies last. This means that some products will not be available through the retired list period. We did anticipate increased demand and based our forecasts for these retiring colours on historical sales information from previous colour transitions. However, even with the most careful planning, the response to a transition of this nature can surprise everyone--including you in your own business and personal purchases. Any of our retiring colour products are only available while supplies last so don't delay, get your favourites now and look forward to the exciting colours coming in the 2013-2014 annual catalogue.

WOW, after all that you should probably make yourself a cuppa and sit down and let it all sink in.

Thanks for looking. If you need any more information or would like to place an order please don't hesitate to phone or email me.

Sorry I've been gone for so long

Well I said I would be back when things settled down, well I'm still waiting.  Feeling very guilty for not blogging, but hope everyone will forgive me.

There was Christmas, visitors, a trip to Perth, back home, back to work, off on long service leave for our daughters wedding and the other daughter visiting from UK. Trip to Melbourne, back to work, sports carnivals, Mum sick!!!  Get the picture.

Anyway,  I will up load some photos and hopefully, all will be forgiven for the big gap in posting.

Proud Dad walking the bride in.             What a perfect couple they are.

This is me with my Mum and Dad.

I hope you are all well and enjoying a nice restful Easter break. Maybe you will get a little time for crafting or cardmaking.

The ten cards in the photos above and below are the ones we made last week at the March Stamp a Stack.  I think everyone enjoyed making them.  I hope you like them.
The gift box and small gift card below were the make and take at our first Stamp Club for 2013.
This technique of colouring with the water colour crayons was last months stamp club project.
I have more photos so I will be back, hopefully a bit sooner this time.  Take care and thanks for looking.

November's Technique Cards

Here is the first card.  Above is the front of the card and below the suprise inside!

The second card is cased from the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue. The front of the card is simple with a belly band for decoration. Inside is this amazing Christmas Tree. The first time I attempted this card I use card stock for the tree,  but that was too bulky so this time I have used Designer Series Paper which is a bit thinner.

We will be making these cards next week at my technique of the month class. Hope you like them. Please leave a message and let me know what you think.

Bye for now

The Latest Stamp a Stack Cards (October)

The first five photos each show two cards made with the same card and designer series paper etc.  I made one Christmas and one alternate card, so that people could choose which version they wanted to make.  The last photo is the other five cards that everyone made, all Christmas cards. Each of these cards used a different embossing folder.
I think everyone was happy with what they made and this way they could choose if they did all Christmas cards or a mixture.

Thanks for looking.  I hope to be back soon with photos of the cards we will make for the Technique class in November.

Bye,

Janice
