Sorry I've been gone for so long

Well I said I would be back when things settled down, well I'm still waiting.  Feeling very guilty for not blogging, but hope everyone will forgive me.

There was Christmas, visitors, a trip to Perth, back home, back to work, off on long service leave for our daughters wedding and the other daughter visiting from UK. Trip to Melbourne, back to work, sports carnivals, Mum sick!!!  Get the picture.

Anyway,  I will up load some photos and hopefully, all will be forgiven for the big gap in posting.

Proud Dad walking the bride in.             What a perfect couple they are.

This is me with my Mum and Dad.

I hope you are all well and enjoying a nice restful Easter break. Maybe you will get a little time for crafting or cardmaking.

The ten cards in the photos above and below are the ones we made last week at the March Stamp a Stack.  I think everyone enjoyed making them.  I hope you like them.
The gift box and small gift card below were the make and take at our first Stamp Club for 2013.
This technique of colouring with the water colour crayons was last months stamp club project.
I have more photos so I will be back, hopefully a bit sooner this time.  Take care and thanks for looking.

November's Technique Cards

Here is the first card.  Above is the front of the card and below the suprise inside!

The second card is cased from the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue. The front of the card is simple with a belly band for decoration. Inside is this amazing Christmas Tree. The first time I attempted this card I use card stock for the tree,  but that was too bulky so this time I have used Designer Series Paper which is a bit thinner.

We will be making these cards next week at my technique of the month class. Hope you like them. Please leave a message and let me know what you think.

Bye for now

The Latest Stamp a Stack Cards (October)

The first five photos each show two cards made with the same card and designer series paper etc.  I made one Christmas and one alternate card, so that people could choose which version they wanted to make.  The last photo is the other five cards that everyone made, all Christmas cards. Each of these cards used a different embossing folder.
I think everyone was happy with what they made and this way they could choose if they did all Christmas cards or a mixture.

Thanks for looking.  I hope to be back soon with photos of the cards we will make for the Technique class in November.

Bye,

Janice

September Stamp a Stack + more

If you are like me and check out lots of card making blogs, you will have noticed quite a few of these Triple Stamping cards.  I have had a bit of a play and here are a few of the cards I made.  We will be doing this technique at the Technique of the Month class next Tuesday.

The top card is made using Gumball Green, Primrose Petals (two of the new In colors) and Whisper White.  The stamp set is Betsy's Blosoms and the sentiment is Teeny Tiny Sentiments.
The Christmas cards are Real Red, Always Artichoke and Whisper White.  The stamp sets are Ornament Keepsakes, Season of Joy, Many Merry Messages and Teeny Tiny Sentiments.

The cards below are from the September Stamp a Stack.  All  the Christmas cards feature the new Stampin' Up! embossing folder "Holiday Frame". The others used up some of my mostly retired DSP & ribbon plus we used five different jumbo wheels and various stamps.

Thanks for looking I hope you like what you've seen.  It's school holidays here now, so hopefully I will get some time to do a bit more card making for fun rather than just planning and preparing for classes.  I do have visitors arriving today for ten days, so I might be busy doing other things.

Bye for now,

August Stamp a Stack Cards

It's been a busy month so sorry for the lack of posts.  I should really be on here showing you the things I have been making with my new goodies from the new Annual Catalogue from Stampin' Up! and the gorgeous Holiday mini catalogue.  I have been playing and making things, but so far I haven't gotten around to taking any photos.  I'm having my launch night on Tuesday, so maybe after that.  But then there will be a stamp a stack to get organised for !!! : ) It never stops does it.

You can check out the new catalogue by going to the Stampin Up! website there's a link in the right hand column, Usefull Links (the top one).

Anyway,  here are the cards we made last month.  Hope you like them.  This time for a change I gave people a choice of making five ordinary cards and five Christmas cards, or ten of ordinary or ten Christmas cards. That sounds confusing, I hope you know what I mean.

Thanks for looking.  I will try to get back here sooner rather than later next time.
